The closer it gets to the weekend, the more healing silly cat memes become. 

Furiday feels like the perfect time to slow the brain down a little and enjoy some completely unserious cat memes. After spending the week dealing with work, responsibilities, notifications, and trying to function like a normal adult, there is something nice about mentally checking out for a few minutes and looking at tiny furry creatures being ridiculous. Cats somehow make everything feel less serious for a little while.

Cats also really perfected the art of accidental comedy. They move through life with unbelievable confidence despite constantly making questionable decisions. One second they are staring dramatically into the distance like wise little philosophers, and the next they are sprinting into walls, getting scared by random objects, or yelling because a food bowl is missing three pieces of kibble. Tiny little weirdos somehow became one of the funniest parts of the internet without even trying.

There really is no better way to ease into the weekend than spending a little time laughing at goofy cat nonsense. Tiny paws, chaotic energy, and dramatic little faces somehow make the entire week feel easier to survive.

  • Anytime food enters the room, it is basically expected that the cat will want a share too. It does not matter if it is a full meal, a snack, or something they absolutely should not eat.
